European Parliament visitor centre honoured at PL+S
Parlamentarium, the European Parliament visitor centre, will scoop a Sinus award at Prolight + Sound 2012 for its creative use of integration and media technology.

The Brussels project, covered in the Jan/Feb issue of InAVate magazine, aims to
uses multi-media and interactive exhbitiobns to explain the work of the EU.

The companies
involved in planning and equipping Parlimentarium will receive the Sinus Systems Integration award on March
21, the first day of the Frankfurt trade fair.

Atelier Brückner, a German consultancy, will
lift the award as the general planner for the project. Other companies honoured with
the Sinus will be announced soon.

Award-winning projects are chosen from the fields of museums,
education or ‘edutainment’ facilities, event facilities and entertainment.

The Awards Committee and jury are composed
of representatives of the Professional Lighting & Sound Association of Germany (VPLT) and the
European Association of Event Centres (EVVC), as well as experts, representatives of the trade press and Messe Frankfurt.
