AV distributor Exertis has announced changes to its group structure, brought on by the organisation’s increasing global operations, and to support its core business functions, internationally.
Neal Johnston becomes Exertis global operations, managing director in an expanded role that includes responsibility for: international
sales and fulfilment; supply chain managed services; global procurement; voice of the customer; own brand development; and global
vendor management for the proAV, gaming and enterprise categories.
Rod McCarthy takes on the additional role of
managing director for Exertis services business in the UK and Ireland with a remit to expand those capabilities
on a global basis. The role will focus on delivering remote support and management, configuration and deployment, and
lifecycle management for customers. McCarthy will continue to lead the Exertis business in Ireland reporting to Paul Bryan,
Exertis UK&I, managing director.
In addition, Exertis is announcing three executive appointments and promotions in key functional
areas of its business:
• Jason Chibnall becomes, Chief Information Officer (CIO)
• Fiona Graham becomes Chief Marketing
Officer (CMO)
• Alan Lynch becomes Global Logistics Director
All new roles report into Tim Griffin, DCC Technology MD.
