Videcon has debuted a face mask detection system to detect individuals in a space without a face mask, identifying users and making rule enforcement easier.
In many places across the world, masks have become mandatory,
yet rule breakers have been elusively hard to prosecute due to
a lack of evidence and suitable staff or technologies available to enforce
the rules.
Videcon’s Covered face mask detection system can define areas
of interest, identifying visitors in the area and highlight whether they
are wearing a mask or not. The user can be notified
through a variety of alert options, including a subtle audible warning to
notify staff to controlling access to the premises, keeping out maskless
visitors.
The system is designed for retail, supermarkets, shops and more.
