Extron Electronics has announced the FF120T, a full-range field loudspeaker for 70V or 100V systems. It features patent pending technology to reduce beaming of mid and high frequencies underneath the speaker.
The FF120T also offers a dispersion area of
170 degrees, providing a very wide room coverage important
for rooms with low ceilings. The low profile, aluminium
enclosure drops into standard suspended ceilings providing quicker installations.
The low profile enclosure means that the speaker
is a good choice for installations with tight spaces
above the ceiling tiles.
Flat field technology redirects radiated
sound from the 3†driver using a custom designed
wave guide to equalise sound pressure levels across the listening area.
