The flat panel and projector market has seen growth throughout the second quarter of 2019, according to PMA Research.
PMA Research has announced its latest sell-through tracking report
on large-format (55-in) and larger) flat panel displays and projectors being
sold by US AV/IT distributors who serve commercial markets.
Second
quarter sales grew over the first quarter in 2019, in what,
according to PMA Research, had historically been the biggest quarter
for professional display sales.
Projector growth (39%) topped FPD growth (12%)
in quarter over quarter comparisons, however unit sales were down
in both categories compared to 2018.
Overall display sales have reduced
by 4% in volume compared to the second quarter of 2018.
