Genelec brings Supercell HQ to the next level
Mobile gaming company Supercell has moved into its new, custom-built offices in Helsinki, supported by Genelec loudspeakers for employee wellbeing around the company HQ.

Almost 500 Genelec loudspeakers have been integrated across the building, including around 300 Smart IP networked models.

Supercell HQ required a solid AV installation to reimagine the company’s workspaces, working with AV designer Akukon and Audico Systems, who handled the system design and integration.

Around 200 Genelec active loudspeakers were used alongside the 300 4430 Smart IP loudspeakers, repurposing the active loudspeakers from Supercell’s previous offices.

The Team spaces and medium-sized zoom rooms at the office are supported by two Genelec loudspeakers, using the speakers’ in-built DSP for EQ and volume control.

In the room’s larger spaces, Smart IP Manager was used to update the firmware of the active loudspeakers, with processing handled via a QSC Q-SYS processor.

IP addresses were set up with a custom script, with monitoring carried out via the Genelec API using custom Audico software.

In the company’s two large meeting rooms, Genelec’s The Ones coaxial three-way loudspeakers were deployed as the main system, with 4430 smart IP loudspeakers used for voice lift and as a delay system for the main speakers.

Genelec systems are also used in the main lobby, the gym, the cafeteria, and the staff entertainment facility. Many loudspeakers were painted in custom colours to blend in with the décor of the Supercell facility.
