Third Man Records, an independent record label, called on Harman audio products to create a solid sound system at its new store and venue in London.
Built as both a live music venue and record store, the
upstairs store area uses a background music system comprised of JBL AC16 compact
loudspeakers and ASB6112 subwoofers supported by Crown DCi 8|600DA amplifiers and BSS
Soundweb Contrio controllers for simple control.
The downstairs live venue area, called
The Blue Basement, features JBL AM7215/95 loudspeakers mounted in delayed positions around the
venue for clear vocals and sound.
For larger, high-capacity shows, the room
also harnesses optional JBL ASB6115 subwoofers for added low end and impact.
A Soundcraft Vi1000 digital mixing console adds controls for live sound, with both
upstairs and downstairs audio systems using BSS signal processors for effective sound distribution.
