Imago has bolstered its videoconferencing portfolio with the Diamond range of cameras, manufactured in China and marketed in the UK through an OEM agreement.
The video communications distributor has taken on the range, that includes standard and high definition models in an effort to
provide resellers with the opportunity to benefit from good margins.
Users can select either ceiling or desk mounted configurations for
the pan-tilt-zoom units. The SD units are available in black or white and the HD dual mount models are available in
silver.
Furthermore, Imago is introducing another model of SD camera, similar in style to the HD units, available in dual
mount and in silver colour.
Peter Nice, head of new business at Imago, said: “We were originally looking to add new
VC cameras to our range because there were some supply difficulties from Japan. However, in our search we discovered the
Diamond models, which offer a better price performance than any of the current market leading VC cameras.
“We have come to
an OEM deal with one of China’s foremost developers of video conferencing and CCTV cameras and we can vouch for
their superb quality. The pricing we are putting in place for the Diamond range will also ensure that resellers are able to make excellent margins.”
