This October's InfoComm MEA show will be held in Dubai against a backdrop of a surge in local projects that will ramp up the value of the Middle East AV market to nearly USD 3billion by 2016.
Show organisers say that GCC megaprojects have prompted the upturn that will see the AV market
reach record highs.
InfoComm International expects the Middle East AV market to rise from USD 1.57 billion
in 2012 to USD 2.76 billion in 2016, marking an increase of 76%. The AV market
for the wider MEA region is predicted to reach USD 4.63 billion by 2016.
The growth is
in part thanks to what the trade body describes as GCC megaprojects and events such as World
Expo 2020 in Dubai, 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, and transport and Smart Cities projects in the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
InAVate will return to the show that runs from October 19 to
22 at Dubai’s World Trade Centre on stand F41 where we will be celebrating 10 years of
supporting the EMEA professional AV market with breaking news as well as business and technology insight and analysis.
