The Inavate EMEA 40 Under 40 is back to shine a spotlight on the rising stars and future leaders in the AV community.

Calling for entries now, this esteemed annual list, featured in Inavate magazine and affiliated publications, highlights the exceptional talent, innovative thinking, and remarkable accomplishments of AV industry professionals under the age of 40.

Why do we do this?

The AV industry thrives on innovation, creativity, and fresh perspectives. By acknowledging the achievements of professionals under the age of 40, the Inavate EMEA 40 Under 40 list showcases new and upcoming talent. This recognition not only provides these individuals with a platform to share their success but also inspires others to push the boundaries of what is possible. Young AV professionals bring unique ideas, technological expertise, and a passion for driving change. By honouring their achievements, this initiative fosters an environment that encourages creativity and a culture of continuous growth.

Now an established part of the EMEA AV community, our 40 Under 40 list always features remarkable individuals such as company founders, talented engineers, and emerging leaders who have made significant contributions to the AV industry. The inclusion of young leaders in the list also offers an invaluable opportunity for networking, collaboration and knowledge exchange, enabling them to shape the future direction of the industry.

Why should you enter?

Being featured in the Inavate EMEA 40 Under 40 list is more than just an accolade; it offers tangible benefits to the professionals selected. Featured individuals are profiled in the 40 Under 40 power book, providing a lasting testament to their achievements and acting as a source of inspiration for aspiring AV professionals. The scheme also provides materials so our inductees can promote their success on social media to colleagues, clients, and peers. Successful individuals will also be invited to a networking event at ISE 2025.

How can you get involved?

The deadline for submissions is September 20, 2024.

Eligible nominees must be under the age of 40 by December 31, 2024. If you have been featured in the Inavate EMEA 40 Under 40 before and you still meet the age criteria, you may enter again but judges will be looking for specific evidence of fresh achievements and career development notched up in the past 12 months.

If you wish to prepare statements prior to the entry page opening, you will be asked the following questions. There is also an optional opportunity to provide a reference letter from a supervisor, client or colleague. You will have to upload a 300dpi headshot of yourself.

Statements and questions:

Education: If your education includes undergraduate and graduate degrees, please include the institution, degree and year graduated.

Provide at least one example of how you have contributed to your current company or organisation's growth, innovation, or profitability over the past 12 months.

If you have been promoted within your organisation, please list the positions held.

List the last three companies you worked for (if applicable).

Also indicate if there are other industries you think AV could learn from to make improvements in how it operates, who it attracts and how it develops.
