Organisers of the EMEA+ InAVation Awards have announced that they will expand the categories for the 2009 event following the success of the second awards- WITH VIDEO!
The 2008 awards programme culminated in spectacular style with an awards event staged at the Hotel Okura, Amsterdam, The Netherlands on the evening prior
to the start of ISE. With 137 entries for 11 technology categories and 91 entries for just 6 project categories the awards reached a new level
of competition.
IML Group publisher Dan Jago commented: "The 2008 awards programme has proven the demand and desire from within the Pro AV industry for
an independent and internationally recognised awards scheme and event. The introduction of multilingual sites and extended media partnerships, including the likes of Professional System/Production Partner in
Germany and Connessioni magazine in Italy, have led to an increase of awareness of every aspect of the awards process, resulting in over 11,600 industry
votes being cast on the dedicated web site for the technology categories alone.â€
Next year’s awards will see a significant change in categories with expansion specifically
within the Project categories. In only our second year the numbers of integration firms booking tables independently increased dramatically. We are now in the position
to further develop these awards with our media partners as an event that Pro AV integrators invite their own clients along to, therefore increasing potential networking
opportunities for everyone on the night and on the first day of ISE,†explained Jago.
Technology and Project entry for the 2009 awards programme will open after InfoComm 2008.
