AV trade association InfoComm is to host a Staging and Event Management Course in London, which will focus on providing UK-based entertainment and event professionals with formal project qualifications recognised globally (and accredited by InfoComm).
Staging and Event Management will be held at the Royal College of Surgeons, Westminster, London from 7-9 January
2014.
The course will be instructed by Andre LeJeune, CTS, Live Events, Rental and Staging instructor at InfoComm International.
Chris Lavelle, regional director, UK & Ireland at InfoComm said: "A call for project management oriented course in
live events has been answered. Cost savings, time efficiency and a more relaxing and rewarding job environment through project
concept, planning and completion can be expected after this course."
"On completing the course, participants will have the
ability to manage show departments, clients and venues. Diverse staging pre-planning, cuing and execution of staging an event as
well as the technical, creative and practical challenges that arise in projects will be explored in depth," explained Andre
LeJeune.
