Ingram Micro's former head of its US consumer electronics arm, Brent McCarty, will head up the technology distributor’s UK and Ireland operation after assuming the position of executive managing director.
McCarty, who takes over from Matt Sanderson, will report to Johan
Vandenbussche, regional vice president, UK, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Prior to joining
Ingram Micro, McCarty worked for Dell Computer Corporation in Canada as
senior account executive, acquisition account executive, inside sales manager, and inside sales
representative.
In his new role, McCarty will lead Ingram Micro’s operations in
the United Kingdom & Ireland, including the offices in Milton Keynes and
Maidenhead, as well as the distribution centre in Daventry.
