ISE chalks up biggest event in 15-year history

ISE is celebrating the largest event in its 15-year history after a record 80,923 visitors registered for the 2018 event.

The exhibition, held February 6 to 9 at the RAI Amsterdam, spanned 15 halls and showed AV and systems integration technologies.

A massive 1,296 exhibitors were
present at the event with 294 companies exhibiting at ISE for the first time. They took 53,000sqm of exhibition floor space. The 2019 event already promises to
be bigger with confirmed floor space for next year’s show already at 103% of the total booked for ISE 2018.

Registered visitors increased 10.3% on
the 2017 edition and almost 20,000 visitors attended the last day of the show. More than 30% of the total attendees were visiting ISE for the first
time.

Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Events, said: “It’s been a great show that has delivered on all fronts. I’m delighted to report that visitor
numbers and exhibitor satisfaction have both been very high. On behalf of ISE, I’d like to thank all our attendees, exhibitors, partners and our co-owners AVIXA and
CEDIA. This combination has made ISE what it is today and ensures that we are able to build on our successes year on year.”

ISE 2018
also saw the debut of the World Masters of Projection Mapping competition, a joint venture between the Amsterdam Light Festival, RAI Amsterdam and ISE. The competition
saw video artists’ project video artworks onto the EYE Filmmuseum in the centre of the city. Florian and Michael Quistrebert won the competition for their artwork Stripes 5.
