Tateside delivered a K-array Vyper audio system at the birthplace of Queen Elizabeth II, a high-end hospitality space that puts audio at the heart of the experience.
Named in reference to the late Queen’s childhood nickname, Lilibet’s, located at No. 17 Bruton Street, London, offers a seafood menu within an elegant interior to
match its royal namesake.
Introduced to the project through an AV consultant, Tateside took responsibility for the design and implementation of a complete background audio system based
on K-array Vyper loudspeakers.
Working with the consultant and local distributor, 2BHeard, Tateside provided a system that is discreet and respects the prestigious nature of the venue.
The integrator was tasked with delivering a high-fidelity sound that complements the atmosphere across the ground-floor restaurant level, with enough headroom to support live musicians.
The Vyper
series loudspeakers were selected to ensure even audio coverage, with sound directed into the centre of the room to avoid hotspots. The system was plotted into
K-array’s K-Framework software to fine tune the configuration, with 2B Heard providing support during the design phase by undertaking acoustic simulations to deliver optimal audio coverage.
14
Vyper HV25 loudspeakers are installed throughout the ground-floor dining room, supported by 12 Rumble KU26 subwoofers.
Two Kommander KA18 amplifiers power the wall-mounted Vypers, whilst a Kommander
KA28 drives the subwoofers.
All loudspeakers are mounted along the perimeter walls, with subwoofers carefully hidden beneath banquettes or within joinery. Each Vyper unit was delivered in
a custom RAL colour, blending with the colourful wallpaper and patterned interiors.
Tateside also supplied a range of DPA and Sennheiser instrument microphones to cater for live musicians.
