Kramer AVoIP technology was selected for the IKH Areena, a multipurpose sports venue that is home to the Finnish town of Kauhajoki’s professional basketball team, Karhubasket.
Ville Nurminen, AV technical manager for Karhubasket, decided on Kramer
to share AV content from multiple sources across the venue that comprises
three restaurants, a lobby, six VIP sections, one large conference room,
a team gymnasium, dressing rooms and the court on which the
team play.

Fifty KDS-7 encoders and decoders, and Kramer Control with SL-240C
and KT-1010 touch panels were integrated into a system that includes
speakers, amplifiers and screens. Two ipads running Kramer software were also
provided for additional control options.
Content around the Areena can switch to
multiple sources including game information and highlights, crowd engagement messages and advertising.
