LG has announced that it has opened a global partnership with Blackdove’s digital art gallery and NFT (non-fungible token) platform.
The partnership will see a customisable display system that can showcase digital art, with resolutions from full
HD (1,920x1,080) to 8K (7,680x4,320).
Blackdove’s curation software can be bundled with LG LED signage products such
as LG MAGNI, LG LED Block, LED all-in-one and fine-pitch LED signage to deliver digital art assets.
The
current selection of artworks are offered by Blackdove’s curatorial team, with artwork from contemporary artworks such as
Jonathan McCabe, Kenneth Wayne, Meghan Cheng, Franck Lefebvre and Jamie Scott.
Paik Ki-mun, senior vice president and head
of the information display business unit, LG Business Solutions, commented: “LG is delighted to partner with Blackdove
as this partnership allows us to engage our LED signage customers with a benefit that is unique to
LG.
“The option to transform LG LED signage into digital canvases in spaces such as luxury residentials,
corporate lobbies, hospitals and retail stores is something we think the public will have a very positive reaction to.”
