LG Display will appeal against a fine imposed by the European Union for price fixing, according to a report on business news site, Bloomberg.
It had been thought that LG
may appeal the ruling since December
last year but Bloomberg has now revealed
that the company filed an appeal
on February 23, asking for a reduced
penalty.
The company was one of
four display manufacturers to be fined alongside
Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp in December.
It was hit with a penalty of €215 million.
