LG may show foldable display technology if it follows up on patent application
A folding TV could be on the way from LG according to a patent application that depicts a screen made from a series of folding display panels.

At either end of the display are frames that
double as stands and soundbars according to the application
made with The Hague International Design System.

The patent application
first came to light in online magazine LetsGoDigital
this month
and builds on LG’s CES showing of a 65-in
rollable OLED TV
at the beginning of year.

As well
as taking up less space when not in use, a
foldable TV would be easy to move and transport
for flexible meeting spaces, as well as exhibitions and events.
