Distributor, Midwich and integration and hire firm, Stage Electrics have been named among the 200 private UK companies with the fastest growing international sales.
The International Track 200 league table is published yearly by the UK’s
Sunday Times newspaper.
Companies are ranked by international sales growth over the latest
two years of available accounts, with minimum sales of £25m.
Norfolk headquartered Midwich,
ranked at number 23, is headed by chief executive Stephen Fenby and employs
364 staff.
Its network of resellers in Ireland, France, Australia and New
Zealand generated overseas sales. Furthermore, a series of acquisitions, most recently Image Design
Technology in Australia, has helped grow the company outside the UK.
Stage Electrics,
buoyed by sales in the Gulf region from its Dubai office, entered the
list at 53. The Bristol company, led by Dan Aldridge, hit international sales of £2.3 million last year.
