Midwich has announced that it has entered a binding agreement to acquire UK distributor Nimans, acquiring the company and its subsidiaries.
Nimans recently expanded into UC, VOIP products, security and networking, with key band relationships with Yealink, Jabra and BT.
Stephen Fenby, managing director, Midwich Group, commented: “Nimans is a long-established business with a great reputation for technical excellence, customer service and logistics competence. Its traditional telecoms market has been changing, bringing with it new revenue opportunities which the company has developed strongly, in areas such as unified communications, video conferencing, security and networking. I believe that the combined skill sets and capabilities of Midwich and Nimans bring a unique offering into the market in terms of providing complex solutions involving multiple technologies.
“I know that partnering with Midwich was a big decision for the owners of Nimans, and we are delighted that they chose us to continue the legacy of the Company’s founder, Julian Niman. We have known the Nimans team for many years, and I believe there is a great cultural fit between the two businesses.”
