The Midwich Group has announced that it has closed Swiss AV distributor MobilePro, citing prolonged challenging trading conditions.
The group said that it took efforts to adapt and mitigate the impact of prolonged challenging trading
conditions, deciding that the business is no longer viable.
The Midwich Group acquired MobilePro in 2019, marking
the UK-based distributor’s first foray into the Swiss market and its first investment in the region.
The business
operations of MobilePro are being gradually discontinued as part of an orderly liquidation process, with the Midwich
Group stating that it is dedicated to supporting impacted employees, partners, and customers through the transition.
The Group
said that it remains focused on future growth, continuing to invest in its core markets and services
across UK&I, EMEA, APAC, and North America.
