AV distributor Midwich has announced a European agreement with BirdDog, a manufacturer of video over IP products and workflows. BirdDog have developed embedded Network Device Interface (NDI) hardware and implemented into a range of HD and 4K broadcast video converters, robotic pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras, and a suite of software products to tie end-to-end workflows together.
The range includes products recommended by Zoom, the
world’s first full NDI PTZ Cameras, PTZ Controller Keyboard,
the world’s smallest 4K NDI Encoders and Decoders, Wallplates,
and SDM modules.
NDI is a way of sending
high-quality video around existing IT networks, from common IT
implementations to mobile environments.
The full range of BirdDog
products are available to Midwich channel partners exclusively through
Holdan (a Midwich Group company). The agreement begins in
the UK & Ireland and Continental Europe on October 1.
