Researchers at the MIT Media Laboratory have come up with a cunning method of stitching any display devices together to create a jumbotron style big screen. The software based system runs on the web, and can be used to combine displays on any devices that can operate a web browser.
Rick Borovoy, Ph.D. and Brian
Knep at MIT's Center for
Future Civic Media have created a
video to demonstrate how the system
can be used, and on
the project’s facebook page, reveal that
they are working on a solution
for using the system to
display video as well as still images.
