is a self-contained system running the Linux operating system with built-in interfaces
for communicating with data sources and live television and video feeds.
It is controlled via a web interface and may be programmed
to display stored pages or live TV together with online data feeds.
Using the more powerful system facilitates greater design freedom, enabling for
example the use of flash animations for company logos. The new
3300/5 is also designed with retail environments in mind and their preference
for the use of portrait screen orientations.
