NanoLumens has announced the appointment of Vishnu Rao as director of software services and platforms to oversee the development of beacons and interactive technologies.
Product development specialist Vishnu Rao will report to NanoLumens CTO Gary Feather
as he works on introducing the next generation of visualisation products at
NanoLumens.
Feather stated: “We are honored to have Vishnu join our team. His
nearly 20 years of experience in operationalizing large, embedded mobile and web service
deployments that enable connected consumers and businesses is going to help us
to achieve our long term goals and objectives in this area.”
Rao previously
worked at Sharp Electronics for 15 years developing Smart TV and mobile platforms,
and brought one of the first remote assist platforms to consumer LCD
TVs. Most recently, Vishnu led on the launch of Sharp Roku and Google TV.
