NEC Display Solutions Europe has selected Simon Jackson to head up a solutions focused global division.
The company intends the Strategic and Global Sales Division to reinforce its global sales
infrastructure and focus on customer solutions.
Jackson, who joined NEC in 1998, will take on the
role of director of the division and will be based at NEC’s European headquarters in
Munich, Germany.
Bernd Eberhardt, President and CEO of NEC Display Solutions Europe, said: “Simon has demonstrated
excellent leadership and expertise in implementing NEC’s vertical sales approach and we are looking forward
to bringing that dedication and leadership to this newly created global sales division. NEC’s future is
focused on more solution-led sales services, and Simon will be instrumental in ensuring NEC does
this effectively on a global scale.â€
Jackson moves to the post from his position heading the
UK and Benelux markets where he oversaw strategic sales, marketing and operations for NEC Display Solutions.
