NEC display solutions has announced the largest LCD public display in its portfolio to date. The new NEC MultiSync LCD8205 offers full HD resolution at a maximum brightness of 600 cd/m2.
This makes the new public display ideal
for deployment in digital signage applications, particularly at
the point of sale – where it
can operate in either portrait or landscape orientations.
Thanks to its built in light sensor, the
display can also adapt itself as appropriate to
the ambient lighting conditions. For flexibility in
the most varied of different applications, the display
offers numerous interfaces including HDMI and SPDIF for digital audio.
