Exertis, a UK distributor has announced the promotion of Ian Aitken to Exertis Medium AV director. He will report to Phil Brown, Exertis IT sales and commercial director. Aitken takes on the leadership role of Exertis Medium following the departure of Ian Sempers the founder, owner and CEO of Medium (UK) Ltd, acquired by Exertis last year.
Paul Bryan, Exertis UK managing director said, “Firstly I would like to thank
Ian Sempers for his contribution and professionalism in conducting a seamless integration of the
business. There is no doubt that he has been instrumental in combining our existing AV
business with that of Medium to create a dynamic, high growth division which will
be a key part of the Exertis proposition moving forward. We wish Ian Sempers
all the best for the future.”
Commenting on his decision, Sempers stated 'It is
now time to hand over the reigns to enable me to concentrate on other interests

Aitken
will head up the Exertis Medium business at their new facility at Stockley Park, London.
