Event and production services company Remix Sound overhauled sound at the prestigious Villa Paola restaurant and events venue located on a hillside in the Italian city of Fondi.
After installing sound systems in the restaurant and dancefloor areas of the venue, Remix was
tasked with extending the audio system to an outdoor pool area.
Remix’s Riccardo De Simone said:
“We needed a slim and elegant speaker with the high power necessary to cover a large
outside space. We’ve worked with Nexo for over two decades so were eager to try the
new ID84 in this application.”
Four ID84s were installed, housed in custom pedestals designed by Remix’s Michele
De Simone in the style of the existing light lanterns at Villa Paola. Columns are powered
by a Nexo DTDAMP4x1.3 four channel amplifier with processing from a DTD-T. The system was designed
by Wouter ‘Tony” Verkuijl from the Italian branch of the Yamaha System Engineering Group who used
Nexo’s NS-1 configuration software. Control was delivered with a Yamaha MTX3 matrix mixer and DCP4V4S control panel.
