Last week Panasonic opened its Professional Displays Experience Centre at Pinewood Studios in the UK. The facility, that builds on the company's existing Broadcast Centre, will be used as a showcase and a practical laboratory.
The centre is located close to London but will provide Panasonic
and its partners across Europe with a facility to further bolster the
company’s end-user focused approach.
It is divided into solutions focused areas including digital
signage, corporate, 3D, interactive and home cinema.
Panasonic also took the opportunity
to launch new LCD families at the centre’s official opening.
Hardware and
software partners involved with the experience centre include U-Touch, Spinetix, RadVision, Hego
and Grand Visual. Furthermore Pufferfish represented at the opening with a hard sphere
product using a Panasonic projector.
David Martin, general manager of European marketing,
at the event, said the centre would help convey the company’s marketing strategy in vertical markets.
