Organisers of PLASA 2008 believe that the promise of new technologies and applications, and an expended education programme has helped drive the PLASA show to record pre-registrations.
Show director Nicola Rowland said: “There’s a real buzz building around
the range of technologies and expertise on offer at the show and
how these can be applied across the industry. It’s a unique chance
to see how projects are being delivered, how lighting, sound and AV
systems are being re-thought around new technologies and how events, productions and
architectural installations are benefiting from innovative developments.â€
PLASA 08’s education programme will
see a significant expansion of last year’s seminars, along with several new
initiatives.
During the Sunday of the show, InfoComm International will be hosting
free seminars on the following topics:
Digital Signage/Video Conferencing
Audio Gain Structure and Clipping
Rack Evaluation for supervisors.
