Prog rockers Styx stream live concert to hearing aid users
This summer Chicago rock band Styx will the first group to broadcast a live concert exclusively for hearing aid users according to news from hearing aid manufacturer Oticon.

The concert will be broadcast to Oticon Opn internet connected hearing aids in an event
that is scheduled as part of the band’s summer tour. 

Tommy Shaw, lead vocalist and
guitarist for Styx, said: “We are proud to announce a special alliance with Oticon to present
the first live concert to be streamed to fans wearing Oticon Opn hearing aids.

 “Hearing loss
affects fans of all ages and with Oticon’s new technology, we are looking forward to
being a part of this historic event!”

Hearing loss is becoming more prevalent with people of
all ages affected. Thankfully more efforts are being made to support and accommodate people will hearing
loss.
