Projection mapping takes over 120 global sites to celebrate Gandhi
This week more than 120 architectural icons across the world were taken over in a staggering co-ordinated feat of projection mapping to highlight the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.

The projections were staged on October 2 to
celebrate the 150th anniversary of Gandhi’s birth.

Locations and
buildings included Piccadilly Circus in London, the Burj Khalifa
in Dubai, Welt Museum in Vienna, Buda Castle in
Budapest, Palazzo Senatorio in Rome, Prambanan Temple in
Indonesia and Museo de Arte in Peru.

Content was
created to highlight the relevance of Gandhi’s life and
philosophy in today’s world. It includes prominent and key
moments from Ghanhi’s life; his inspirational quotes, discourses and initiatives.
