Promethean growth gets ministerial backing
Promethean is supporting its rapid expansion with a new 8,000sq ft facility in Maidenhead, UK that is set to open in August 2010.

Interactive learning technology specialist says its expansion plans will create up to
100 jobs over the next three years with skilled jobs primarily focused on
sales and marketing and research and development.

Theresa May, The Home Secretary and
Member of Parliament for Maidenhead, said: “I strongly welcome new investment in the
Maidenhead area, and these new jobs will provide a timely boost. Maidenhead
is a great place to work and it is important that we continue
attracting successful businesses to the town. This is another vote of confidence to
our local business community.”

Promethean is headquartered in Blackburn, UK and currently employs
more than 900 people worldwide.
