NEC has announced its new Cat5 enabled solution for public displays. With the Minicom DS Vision 3000 distribution system, full HD video and audio data can be easily and synchronously transmitted from a single PC to several displays.
The new receiver offers the capability of
controlling displays via a RS-232 interface. The signal
source can be located up 600m remote from
the displays, without the need for rack cabling,
external power supply, or additional external devices.
The
new Cat5 receiver is compatible with all NEC
20 series LCD public displays, these are designed
with an Option Slot for enhanced functionality. Additional
external accessories available also include a Minicom splitter and broadcaster.
