In a statement released by the American pro audio manufacturer Rane, it has confirmed that distribution of its products for the UK market is moving to Polar Audio, from Sennheiser UK, from 1 July 2015.
David Brinsden, Sennheiser UK’s director of operations said: "It is not without an element of sadness that our
UK distribution of Rane should come to an end. For over 12 years Sennheiser has had a strong
working relationship with Rane Corp. Producing high quality cutting edge audio products for both the installed sound and professional
DJ market is what Rane is all about and we will continue to wish them all the success in
the future."
John Midgley, MD of Polar Audio said: "We are delighted to have secured exclusive distribution of
this exceptional brand. There can be no doubt that Rane currently manufactures some of the finest available products for
the DJ and fixed installation markets. These are areas within Polar Audio's business that we have been steadily and
successfully building and so Rane is a most welcome addition. It will complement perfectly our existing portfolio to
further strengthen our position in these sectors and we're very much looking forward to developing a long and fruitful relationship."
