Events systems provider Rock-Tech is hosting a series of free training seminars in the UK, in conjunction with Yamaha.
A specialist provider of AV to houses of worship, Rock-Tech’s seminars will help worship staff get the
most of their live and installed audio technology. It will look at the whole signal chain of products,
ranging from performer to loudspeaker.
Rock-Tech has collaborated with Yamaha to provide specialist training on its QL
and TF digital mixing consoles.
“Our course aims to give church sound technicians a solid grounding in how
sound works and how to solve common problem. We look in detail at advanced microphone techniques and use
of DI boxes, which can go a long way to helping inexperienced users understand what's going wrong,” commented
Cat Adlam from Rock-Tech.
“Once the basics have been covered, we move on to how to best
mix sound, including hands-on tuition in techniques for digital mixing desks,” he added.
Free sessions will take place
at:
Leeds Hope City Church (April 23, 2016)
Wolverhampton All Nations Church (May 14)
Lincoln Alive Church (June 11)
