Joe Roberts has joined RTI as the company’s new CEO, leading the company as it aims to expand its RTI control platform.
Roberts has joined the company after taking over from interim
CEO Mark Derus, who will return to the role of
chief financial officer.
Roberts has worked with a variety of companies
over 20 years in the industry, working in office, IoT,
cloud and software-as-a-service markets. Roberts served with companies including Core Brands,
ELAN and Nortek, having helped lead the merger with Nortek
Security & Control.
At the executive level, Roberts has also held
roles in general management and senior marketing positions at The
Learning Company, Broderbund, Corel and eLanguage.
Roberts’ appointment is effective immediately.
