Samsung Electronics has brought its forecast for the launch of flexible displays forward to 2012, according to a company spokesman.
Although the fist products
are tipped for use within
mobile phones, the Korean company
hopes to extend the concept
to other devices soon
after.
Prototype versions of the
displays, shown at the Consumer Electronics
Show earlier in the year, were
curved but secured within rigid cases.
