Three sold-out concerts by Sevara Nazarkhan at Humo Arena in early May marked the first major deployment of L-Acoustics L Series in Uzbekistan. The performances showcased the new L2 line array system deployed by Yastreb-Sound, Uzbekistan's only L Series rental partner.
Sevara Nazarkhan is Uzbekistan's most internationally recognised musical artist, known for blending traditional Uzbek music with contemporary arrangements and for collaborating
with artists like Peter Gabriel and Sinéad O’Connor. Her solo concerts at the 12,500-capacity Humo Arena drew audiences from across Central Asia, with
all three performances reaching full capacity.
Yastreb-Sound technical production company became the region's first L Series partner with its L2 acquisition, and
the concerts marked the system's first major deployment. The partnership was facilitated by L-Acoustics Certified Provider distributor, Sound Creations, who provided system
design consultation and technical support for the deployment.
Humo Arena's expansive interior presented significant acoustic challenges. The venue's high ceilings and challenging sightlines
required a system capable of maintaining clarity and impact across long throw distances while ensuring consistent coverage throughout the space.
The system
centered on L/R L-Acoustics L2 arrays. Each L2 enclosure incorporates four discrete acoustic elements, delivering a 110° horizontal dispersion pattern that provided
coverage without additional delay towers. L-Acoustics K2 arrays served as side hangs for lateral coverage, with Kara elements handling front-fill duties. KS28 subwoofers
in cardioid configuration delivered controlled low-frequency response. The complete system was optimised using Soundvision acoustic prediction software and managed through LA Network Manager.
