Shaw Theaters’ latest cineplex in Singapore, housed within the new Seletar Mall, have chosen Christie cinema solution for installation.
The Christie Solaria One+ projector has been used in eight theater auditoriums. The projector utilizes a Xenon lamp, is
2d and 3d capable, has a brightness of 8,000 lumens and comes with Christie Integrated Media Block (IMB) and Screen
Management Software (SMS). The projector can also be upgraded to play high frame rate (HFR) movies.
Control over auditorium functions
is accomplished with the Christie ACT Digital Cinema Theatre Control, a program that allows exhibitors to adjust light dimmers, masking
motors, audio levels and the projector from a web capable device on the same network. Also included is the Christie
Network Attached Storage (NAS), which works in tandem with the IMB to ensure reliability.
