Magenta Research has announced the availability of HD-One, an HDMI video and audio extension product that utilises a single Cat6 cable. HD-One is HDCP compliant and capable of extending uncompressed 1080p video with audio to 46m or 1080I up to 61m.
It is a plug and
play device, requiring no adjustments or tuning,
and uses only a single power
supply on the transmitter end.
HD-One is
sold as a kit containing a
transmitter, a receiver and a 12V universal
power supply. It can used be
used to extend DVI video when used
with the optional HDMI to DVI adapter cables.
