ST Engineering Anytcip has provided what is claimed to be the first ‘omnidirectional’ XR treadmill for the University of Liverpool.
Inspired by sci-fi movie Ready Player One, ST Engineering
Antycip’s Infinadeck aims to enable users to move freely and
naturally within expansive virtual spaces without being confined by
real-world environments.
ST Engineering Antycip delivered an Infinadeck treadmill which
is compatible with VR headsets, projection domes, immersive LED displays
or standalone use.
The Infinadeck is used as a doorway
to research and virtual adventures, focused on uncovering how
buildings and architectural styles change over times, creating virtual museum
experiences that allow participants to virtually explore paintings and ‘touch’ statues.
