Stage Audio Works and dB Audio Namibia have brought Namibia’s first DM7 and Sennheiser EW-DX EM 4 Dante receiver systems for a southern African festival.
Namibia’s first Yamaha DM7 and Sennheiser EW-DX EM 4 Dante receiver systems were used at Liefde By die
Nam, part of the Liefde By Die Dam festivals that originated in South Africa.
An event dedicated to Afrikaans
music, Liefde By die Nam took place in Windhoek, Namibia, with event production specialists dB Audio Namibia using
audio systems which were supplied and supported by Stage Audio Works Namibia.
The Yamaha DM7 console was selected for
FOH mixing, the first deployment of this model in Namibia, chosen for its compact design that proved a perfect
fit for the festival’s outdoor setup.
Sennheiser’s EW-DX EM 4 Dante receiver systems were also a first for deployment
in Namibia, built to streamline live productions by evaluating the environment and applying equidistant channel spacing for effective
frequency deployment.
The main sound was powered by d&b audiotechnik V-series loudspeakers, offering directivity control, sufficient headroom, as well
as strong power capacity. d&b’s ArrayCalc and R1 tools were used to provide clear, balanced audio across the festival site.
