HRH The Prince of Wales Responsible Business Network has been launched to help UK businesses provide support to local needs during the Covid-19 pandemic.
750 UK businesses are currently in membership, with the national
business response network being launched to identify community needs across the
UK and matching them to the support that they need, including
food, social care and technology to allow children to continue learning
and older people to stay connected to families.
The scheme
identifies community needs from community groups, schools, local authorities, local resilience
bodies, charities and alliances such as the British Red Cross Voluntary
and Community Sector Emergencies Partnership and small businesses, connecting business resources
to meet specific needs: professional support, lending/donating of resources and logistics.
