Yamaha’s Rivera takes over Iberia office
Yamaha Commercial Audio has bolstered its presence in the southwest Europe Iberia Peninsular, appointing Manuel Rivera as its commercial audio manager at its Iberia office based in Madrid, Spain.

After working as an engineer in the Spanish professional audio industry, Rivera joined Yamaha
in 2003 as head of the service department in Madrid. There he was tasked with carrying
out a major restructuring to customer service levels.

Rivera was promoted to Commercial Audio sales
manager last year before taking over complete management of the Iberian office.

“This is a time
when the new, closer Europe requires new and innovative approaches to business,” he said. “In
my new role I am determined that we will work hard as a team to enhance
Yamaha’s industry leadership in the Spanish and Portuguese professional audio markets.”

“Manuel brings a fresh
and dynamic leadership to our operations in Iberia,” added Nick Cook, European marketing director for Yamaha
Commercial Audio. “His product skills have benefited Yamaha and our regional customers greatly over the past six years.”
