LG launches 4K surgical monitor

LG has launched its 31.5-in 4K surgical monitor, the 32HS710S, combining 4K resolution with features designed to prioritise operational efficiency.

The 32HS710S is designed to enable medical professionals to interact with visual data, allowing users to configure picture mode settings independently for each input source, helping to display images from multiple devices in a way that suits their needs.

Dedicated hotkeys enable quick activation of preferred screen modes and picture-by-picture layouts, allowing adjustments with one button press.

The monitor’s 4K IPS display is designed to deliver images with consistent colour across a wide viewing angle, with a typical brightness of 800 cd/m², covering approximately 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space.

The display is compliant with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard, employing durable glass with optical bonding, anti-glare, anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint coatings to maintain image clarity under bright surgical lighting.

IP45 rating is included for the front, with IP32 rating for the back and IK06 impact resistance with a weight of 9.2kg.

The display can be mounted on a variety of surgical monitor arms, with a failover input switch that can automatically switch to a backup source if the primary source is interrupted.
