Apex’s CloudPower CP704 amplifiers were installed as part of a system upgrade for an indoor ice rink at NKT arena Karlskrona, Sweden.
Standing tall as a focal point for sporting in Karlskrona, the arena’s audio
system required a refresh, sparked by the need for a new fire alarm system.
The installation was led by integrator, Assemblin El AB, identifying opportunities to improve the
audio experience.
Bose 802 loudspeakers and 502 subs were repurposed from the main hall,
creating the need for a new amplification and system processing solution.
Four CloudPower CP704
models were selected for the project, with each providing 4x700W alongside a suite of
processing tools.
All CloudPower amplifiers can be set up and monitored remotely over the
cloud from a device running Apex’s IntelliCloud WebUI.
A Yamaha MTX3 matrix processor was
also selected to route all announcements, music sources and other audio signals in the hall.
