Extron XTP system upgrades experience for school Esports program
An Extron AV system design incorporates delivery of 4K video content and selectable audio signals to engage K-12 Esports students.

DI Technology designed and implemented the Esports gaming computers, while EKC Enterprises designed
and deployed the AV switching and distribution system.

At the heart of each lab
is an Extron XTP System of each Esports lab installation, maintaining AV signal integrity
and image quality throughout the session or tournament, using Extron XTP II CrossPoint modular
matrix switcher routes for selectable combinations of gaming video, clear sound, player statistics, and
more to the facility’s five 86-in 4K commercial displays.

Extron XTP HDMI scaling receivers
deliver the AV, inserting control signals to the displays. Content is sent to the
facility’s show-casting system during tournaments, supported by an Extron IP Link Pro control processor
used in combination with the TouchLink Pro 10-in tabletop touchpanel located at the production station.
